Legacy designer Jason Chambers incorporated the distinct style preferences of two homeowners into a simple, yet elegant, Transitional design.
Our clients wanted a larger, open kitchen layout, a walk-through Butler’s Pantry and an Island for food prep and social gathering. To accomplish this, we moved every wall in this wing of the home, repositioning a closet by the front door and absorbing a small sitting room into the new kitchen space.
The homeowners love to cook and entertain, so their wish list included an island for casual seating, a 6 burner cooktop with decorative metal hood and walkways all around for better flow.
The decorative metal hood and distressed tile backsplash bring a nice variety of textures and colors to the space. Our clients love how these design elements bridge the Traditional style of the moulding and color accents with the Contemporary feel of the simple shaker doors.
The oval window in the Butler’s Pantry is flanked by floating shelves, creating a strong focal point and an opportunity to display thematic and seasonal décor without cluttering the countertop workspace.
